coughing
When should I worry? DS (5 mths old) has had a cold since yesterday: sneezing, nasal congestion, fussy. He has also been coughing more than usual. He usually only coughs when he drinks too fast but since yesterday he wakes up coughing. sometimes he coughs 5 times in a row. He doesnt have a fever, is still eating and no vomitting or diarrhea. should I be worried? Also, he is feeling a little better in general today.

coughing
Cough is normal with a cold. If he starts wheezing, his breathing becomes labored, or if the coughing is keeping him up a lot at night, then I would call your ped.

I would go to the doc anyway... just to get him checked out. My DS had a wheeze they could only hear with the stethoscope and we had to give him nebulizer treatments, which really helped. Good luck!
