How often do you bathe your baby?

Dd is almost 5mos old and up until now I've only been bathing her twice a week. We wipe her face and hands every morning and after every meal with a warm wash cloth and naturally we wash our hands a lot and shower daily. I was afraid to dry out her skin and she always smells clean so I didn't see any issue. Now I feel like everyone has bathtime as part of their nightly routine and I'm wondering if I'm doing things wrong. Holly is home about 5 days out of the week since our babysitter comes to us so she doesn't get too many "outside" germs. She's not working out or making mud pies.

Is my kid "the stinky one" and I just don't realize it? lol

Depnds on the week. Usually 3x but in the summer it was more. DS has sensitive skin and can't bathe him much more than 3x a week.

About every other night unless we are out and about all day. We still have a night routine, but instead of a bath just soapy water on a warm, wet washcloth on his face, hands and privates.

Now I have a 3 yr old and 14 month old. They get one every night pretty much. If we are out then I wipe them where we are at, put on their pajamas and then they go straight to bed when we get home.

My two girls get a bath every night they are 3 months and two years old. It's part of their routine. My little one spits up so much she sometimes gets two baths. Their skin is never dry. I only use aquaphor wash on them.

My girls have taken a bath every single day since they were born. Now that they are in school we bathe them at night once I get home from work. It's the first thing I do upon my arrival.

Every night. Sometimes we have a hectic end of day and we're ok with skipping the bath but that's rare.

Every night, it's part of our nighttime routine. Occasionally we'll skip it if we are out late, but that's really rare.

I usually do every other night, sometimes its two nights. In the summer it was more like everyday because he sweats like crazy!! In the winter his skin gets super dry so whenever he gets a bath he gets lathered in Cetafil cream after!!

DD is 4 months and we bathe her every day - very rarely we’ll go one day without. Her skin is not dry at all. We also have to do it because she is the spit up queen, so she gets dirty pretty quickly.

Usually every other night. Sometimes I stretch it an extra day. But not everyday unless there's a reason for it.

We bathe our 3 month old DD twice per week also. She rarely spits up, and I feel like she really doesn't get that dirty. I wipe her down with a washcloth at other times, as needed.

ETA: I was thinking the same thing as you, that maybe we weren't doing it often enough! DD is out of the house at daycare 3 days per week, and at my IL's two days per week, but they keep all keep her so clean!

DS is almost 12 mos and we still bathe him 2-3 times a week (summertime it was more if he was in a pool or at the beach). If his hands or feet get dirty inbetween we wash in the sink with a washcloth

our dr recommended NOT washing him every day as he has very dry skin in the winter

frankly, he doesn't get dirty enough to warrant it

DD is 2 and she gets a bath every night. It's part of our routine. If we're out late, we can skip it and it's okay. She's been bathing daily since about 3 months.

usually every other night sometimes we'll go two nights without.

baby is 5 1/2 months and isn't crawling around or anything but she does poop quite a bit so I like doing every other night.

i don't think twice a week is a problem for her age.
