I live in Stony Brook...............Three Village Schools. Aside from really liking the area and the beautiful neighborhoods it was the district that really sold us. It's a bigger district but a really good one too.

Half Hollow Hills. Excellent academics, athletics and arts. They manage the financial part extremely well also. Read the statistics on spending per pupil. You will find they spend less and offer much more than most.
Also many affordable options in the district.
