JJ COLE BUNDLE ME-HELP
Hi. I'm looking to get a bundle me for the carseat as its getting colder in the mornings now. I think its still too cold for the winter one so I was thinking of using the LITE version. Anyone use this one. Is it worth it? Im basically looking to leave it on the car seat. so will i still be able to move the seat in and out of car and onto stroller, etc?
Also, what is the difference between the car seat cover and the bundle mes. which is better
ANd finally,do you use it with graco snugride 30? i saw a review that said the lite version didnt fit but it was from 2010
TIA

Re: JJ COLE BUNDLE ME-HELP
There are a lot of reviews that say the Bundle Me is totally unsafe because it sits between your child and the car seat. This makes the car seat less safe in case of an accident. They do make the "shower cap style" car seat covers which are considered safer. I haven't gotten or used one yet but that's what we'll be purchasing when the time comes.

The better car seat cover to get is one that does NOT go under the baby. It looks like a shower cap. It is said to be safer because it doesn't interfere with the proper alignment and tightness of the harness straps. If not aligned or tightened correctly baby will not be as safe if an accident were to occur.

Re: JJ COLE BUNDLE ME-HELP
The car seat cover just goes over the car seat. You dont have to put it through the straps. I used this with ds. I used the reg. bundle me in the stroller and not in the car seat.
Some people use the bundle me in the car seat and have been fine. Others dont because they feel its unsafe.

Re: JJ COLE BUNDLE ME-HELP
I used the bundle me car seat covers all last winter and they are GREAT. I only used the heavy weight ones. I have graco 35's for the twins and needed to use diaper pins at the angle in the seat to get the cover to stay without gaps when it was really cold. I am hoping they do not grow out of their infant seats before the spring just so I can use the bundle me's again.

I used the bundle me all last winter. I know people say they are a safety issue but it did nto concern me enough not to use it.

Agreed.
The car seat manual will warn against anything that goes between the straps and the baby also.
