Re: moms of girls...
DD's furniture is off white, and this is her bedding - beige and pink.

Re: moms of girls...
We were so we left the room the color it already was (BM Philipsburg Blue) and added white wainscoting to lighten it up.
We eventually painted it a BM pink but I can't remember the name. It's very PINK !!! Funny part is, her favorite color is yellow!

bright bright yellow.
Us too. We didn't find out the sex until really late so we thought yellow would go great for a boy or girl.

moms of girls...
we were team green so DD had green walls. even when we moved we kept them green so DD wouldn't feel like it was a big change. DD transitioned seamlessly!! we went with BM Kittery Point Green. some of the other posters mentioned BM Saybrook Sage, which we used for our dining room. i love both colors, they are very similar - IMO the Saybrook Sage is a tad more sophisticated and classic than the Kittery Point which is a little paler and lighter. but either one would work great.

Re: moms of girls...
I picked out the bedding for my DD and then painted the room a shade of purple from the bedding.

Re: moms of girls...
We were team .. so we painted the room BM Celery Salt. I love love love the color. it looks like a very light green in some lights and a little tanish in others.
ETA. I knew if I had a girl, the room would have to be somewhat shabby chic... If you are going for this look, this color is great!

Re: moms of girls...
I went non-traditional...yellow with a red accent wall. It matched her bedding.
I'm not a pink person and I KNEW that having a girl would mean I'd be inundated with pink clothes, blankets, etc...so I wanted her room to be fun & bright and cool.
My only issue is finding bedding for her twin bed now and DH does not want to deal with painting over the red...

Re: moms of girls...
Pale green with white wainscotting. We were team green and then I bought girly PBK bedding (green, blue with some pink and yellow daisys) and daisy wall decals to go with it after she was born. I love it.
