How hard was it to convert the crib to a full size bed? How long does it take and how complicated was it?

Very simple, just a screwdriver and a few screws! We did it in about 10 or 15 mins.
Oops sorry, totally misread that! I thought you were asking about converting to a toddler bed. Haven't done full size yet!

If you have the support rails, it's fairly simple. Just take the toddler bed or crib apart, and the widest pieces are the headboard and footboard. The rails should fit into the head and foot boards with no tools.
