do you put a towel in the sink to cover the sink so they dont get cold? How do you do it?
DS is 4.5mths and its getting squirmy in his tub. I think the sink would be better

Have you considered trying a bigger tub or the duck tub (i think a lot of people use that, I never tried it)? I'm just thinking that at some point perhaps pretty soon, your DS will get too big for the sink (unless you have a really big sink, in which case I'm jealous), and then you'll have to transition him out of the sink and into something new. We have the primo eurobath and really like it.

I bathed DD in the sink until she was about 15 months old because our only bathroom was under construction until then. I did not put a towel in the sink. I just made sure the kitchen was warm - sometimes I'd bathe her while cooking or baking something in the oven so the kitchen would be extra toasty.

I've only bathed dd in the sink while on vacation bc her regular tub is too big to take along. I picked up a sponge mat in Walmart that has a temperature gauge actually on it. Works well every time!

DS is 27 months and we still give him baths in the sink We have a huge copper farmhouse sink though. We used the summer infant mesh bath seat from day 1 until he could sit up in his own. We would just fill the sink up to cover him partially and always kept our hands on him si he didn't roll off. Easy peasy.

I bathed DS in the sink until he was about 6 months. I always put one of these down first.
ETA: Once he sat up good I started to use the this tub and I love it!
