Belly sleeping

If your 4 month old rolls onto their belly in their sleep, do you leave them or roll them back? DD2 is rolling fairly well, (sometimes gets stuck), lifts her head great etc. Tonight she rolled onto belly at bedtime. Do I leave her?

(When does one become an "experienced" mom who doesn't question every decision? lol. After 2 babies I still stress!)

Once they get to their belly on their own, they are fine. Leave her!

I'm 2 kids in as well and I can't imagine ever getting to a point of such experienced momhood that I don't question my decisions!!

Leave her. Once she can do it on her own, she's fine. DD was always a belly sleeper and would roll over herself.

At DD's 4 month appointment last week the ped. said she's fine if she rolls on her own. That said, I roll her back! She's not yet able to roll belly to back and just cries or whines when she's on her belly.

Re: Belly sleeping

Well ladies...I left her on her belly, and she slept 11 hours without getting up to nurse! Needless to say my boobs were BRICKS this morning, but I let her go. WAHOO! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Belly sleeping

leave her!! Chat Icon DS slept so much better on his belly.

if you lets you sleep a little better, you can get those breathing monitors - we have an angel care. DH and I slept much better knowing it was on.
