Daycare vs home care
Currently my 17 month is in daycare. It's expensive and was wondering if it's less expensive to have someone come to my house. Also, how much would you estimate daycare to cost for two children (infant/ toddler)?

Re: Daycare vs home care
In my experience, daycare was always cheaper than a full time nanny for 1 child. Even the cheapest full time nanny would probably still cost more than daycare.
If you have 2 children, it would depend on the cost of the nanny. If you have a cheap nanny, it would be cheaper to have a nanny vs 2 in daycare but then you also have to pay for activities. If you have a higher priced nanny, daycare would be cheaper.

Re: Daycare vs home care
I did in-home daycare, I watched two little boys in my home.
One kid was here on M-W-F from 7:30 to 3:30 and his mom paid me $65/day but didn't pay me when he wasn't here.
The other kid was here Mon-Thurs 7:30 to 3:30 and his mom paid me $90/day and she paid me if she kept him home UNLESS it was for a vacation and she gave me advance notice.
