SPR - table seating at a christening for over 100?
Posting for a friend - she is having a christening for over 100 people at a restaurant. She initially told me she had no intention of doing seating arrangements and I suggested she should. I think it's more organized, especially with that many guests. She said her DH's family usually doesn't and it always seems to work out. Plus, the venue where she is holding the christening, has a semi-seperate area where she was hoping the parents and children would self designate for the older children to sit by themselves. This is happened at her SIL's dd's christening recently. If she did arrangements, how would she do that? What are your thoughts? TIA

Been to christenings and big parties both ways. It doesn't really matter. IMO... People will complain both ways.
If the seating is tight... As in the place is small... It's helpful.

I personally think for a party of that size for my family and friends I would have to do seating. I answered yes in the poll however if she thinks her family and friends don't need it... she doesn't have to do seating.
