Can you share what you feed your 1 year old?
Also, is it "safe" to feed a 1-year old peas, corn, beans, etc.? Do we have to mash them? I'm afraid of choking on the skin...
Here's what I do, but I need to expand his horizons... I need ideas!!
8am - Morning Bottle ... just completed the transition to whole milk today. He drinks 9oz of organic, whole milk.
10:30am - 4 Tbsp Gerber Cereal with milk AND Fruit (either fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, kiwi (cut up) or the Gerber pureed fruit) AND Whole grain waffle or French Toast Sticks or Eggs or Pancakes
2p - When he wakes from nap (around 2hrs), he eats either a slice or two of turkey and cheese OR yogurt and maybe more fruit.
4p - "Dinner" - Broccoli and Cheese Ravioli with meatballs and tomato sauce OR Spaghetti with Ricotta and Sauce OR Pastina with butter (have added chicken and mashed peas/corn) OR macaroni and cheese. Usually give him a Gerber veggie, if there aren't any veggies in the main meal.
7p - Bedtime bottle (9oz Organic, whole milk).
I sometimes give puffs or mum mums or goldfish or shortbread-type cookies in between. I'll also give water with lemon or orange slice and a bit of prune juice, if he's constipated.
I feel like I'm missing a big "meal" in here, but he's gaining weight just fine. (he's 95th percentile, consistently)

We're on the meal, snack, meal, snack, meal plan. This works for us bc DD doesn't eat a ton in one sitting. Maybe cut back the morning bottle, have breakfast earlier and have a more defined lunch?
Breakfast-7am-Cheerios, pancake, waffle, muffin, or omelette. Also with a fruit. Snack-9:30am-Yogurt or smoothie Lunch-Noonish-Sandwich (egg salad, chicken salad, turkey, cream cheese, or grilled cheese) or Quesadilla or Pasta (Mac cheese or Ravioli). Also with a veggie. Snack-After nap, about 3:30pm-Fresh fruit Dinner-6:30-Whatever we eat, cut small. Always with veggie.
4oz whole milk is served at every meal/snack, with water always avalilable in a sippy throughout the day. I wanted to cut out making the drink a "meal".
DD is 13mo and eats peas, corn, beans whole. However I usually find them whole in her diaper!! We need to work on chewing!

Re: Can you share what you feed your 1 year old?
My 13 month old eats pretty much everything and anything.
He's been off babyfood since 10 months. I also have a 3 yr old with sensory issues and has been on babyfood since 2 and now has limited foods he'll eat
That's why as soon as I saw the baby had no issues I went right into it...
Ex. 7:30 - 8am - pancakes in pieces and usually a fruit like blueberries, cut up strawberries or grapes (cut those in half) Snack is usually Cheerios or frui.
Lunch... PB on whole wheat bread or grilled cheese, spaghetti, ravioli, cheese and turkey, fruits, any veggies, meatballs, scrambled eggs, chicken, turkey, burger, etc
Dinner can be the same as lunch too depending. I do cut up big stuff and he does eat peas and corn whole no issues. He also shovels foods in his mouth so I know he can handle food well. He'd eat all day if I let him. Total opposite his brother
