Any Doctor Who fans?
I know I'm late to the party on this but DH and I have been watching Doctor Who (the newest version of it... I think it started on BBC in 2005) and OMG we are addicted. We are almost done with the second season.
This show has a way of pulling you in! DH admitted he's been browsing fan fiction on the train, and I've been looking at stuff on the Geek boards on Pinterest.
Any other Whovians out there?

Any Doctor Who fans?
I used to watch it, I freaking loved Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor and then (swoon) David Tennant was the Doctor...and Russell T. Davies was writing it, but I just do not dig the ne Doctor at all...my husband is in love with the Scottish girl who is his new sidekick, but I am meh about it. The new series started here in the UK last night, husband said it s underwhelming, but I probably won't watch it. My husband watched Dr. who when he was a little kid and used to hide behind the sofa! It's a. British institution! Enjoy

YES!!! DH and I watched the season premiere last night. I love this show. It's just such great fun without being stupid or vapid like some other shows on TV - but it's still a show that doesn't take itself too seriously. Love!

We are watching them on Netflix. I like David Tennant but I LOVED Christopher Eccleston. So sad he's gone.

Me! I liked Eccleston better at first too, but before season 2 was even halfway through I really fell for Tenant. I like Matt Smith too - he's a totally different Doctor, though; really goofy and more scary than tortured.
I read a spoiler about ... I'll just call it "some new casting"... and I was kind of surprised. Won't post it here, but if anyone wants to know, it's all over the Internet.
