What to do near Nesconset tomorrow??
I am having DD's 6 month pics taken by the fabulous Heather from Forever Fireflies. So considering I will be what I consider "east" tomorrow morning, I feel like I should find something to do in the area. Any suggestions? I am willing to go further east, just not to Montauk...lol

Stop by stony brook and feed the ducks ( bring bread). Go to port Jefferson walk around, they have a nice playground, have ice cream.

It's probably another 20-30mins from there but the Holtsville Ecology center is fun. They have an animal preserve that I think is pretty nice (it reminds me of a mini zoo), they also have a playground area and a walking track that's good to ride bikes on. Best part is it's all free.

Drive about a mile you will encounter a traffic light ( i dont remember if its te first or second light) and bare right at the fork. The duck pond will be done a little while on your left hand side.
