DD's Hair
When did you give your DD her first haircut? DD is 13 months and has a good amount of hair, it is ALWAYS in her face unless in a pony tail. I feel like I shouldn't cut it yet since I want her to have long beautiful locks lol, but I hate always having it up or in her face, so when did you give your DD their first haircut

Re: DD's Hair
Probably aroudn 18 months-just a trim. Actually after we cut it, it grew so much nicer and thicker and faster. So if you are going for long hair, I'd say take her for a trim- they will clean it up, get it out of her face and most likely it will grow in even better.

Re: DD's Hair
We did it at 12 months for her birthday party actually b/c she had this ridiculously long piece in front haha.
The more you cut it the faster and thicker it will grow. You need to get "rid" of the baby hair.
Since then she's had about 4 cuts and her hair grows in better each time I cut it.

Re: DD's Hair
DD is 2 and we still have not given her a haircut. She has a lot of hair, but I always just put it in some kind of barrette to tame it. Now it is at her shoulder blades and evening out.

Re: DD's Hair
My DD is 2 1/2 and we have not gotten her a haircut yet. I have always just kept the hair out of her eyes by using clips, Pebbles ponytail on the top of her head when she was younger, pig tails now. I have no plans on cutting it anytime soon.

Re: DD's Hair
My DD has a mop on her head, lol. People (or, MIL) keep asking when we're gonna cut it. I'm not in any rush - her hair is curly and well, when I was a baby and my mom cut my curly hair, I wound up with a disco afro... makes for funny pics to look back on but i'm not doing that to my kid!

DD's Hair
DD is just shy of 2 and she hasn't had a haircut yet. She has curly hair so I don't see the need for it because it'll just end up looking like an afro at this point. She's been talking about getting a haircut and will complain about hair in her eyes sometimes, but I usually put a headband on her or a barrette or pull it back and it's fine.

Same here. When DD was 1 1/2, she had this awkward stage where it looked awful all the time and I was SO tempted to cut it. I'm so glad I didn't bc it's so long and pretty now.
I also don't understand the whole cutting it to make it grow in thicker- how would a trim at the ends affect the growth at the roots?
