daycare sleeping question

My two year old son started NYS cert. daycare program today. The center is in a woman's house. She allows the children to take naps in a stroller. My son napped for an hour today but I was wondering if that is allowed in a license NYS center. I signed a form that I would allow him to sleep on a mat. I'm a little uncomfortable with him in a stroller during nap time. Has anyone experienced this?? Thanks

I've never heard of this. The exception was when my DD was congested, they would have her sleep in a bouncy seat type thing. Strollers aren't even allowed in the room at my DD's daycare center.

If your form was just for the mat, they shouldn't be allowing your child to sleep anyplace else.

I had to sign off on forms when they were little allowing them to sleep in the swing or bouncy as well as the crib but nowhere else.

When I worked in a daycare center each child had to have a mat that was labeled and their own bedding. If the state walked in and saw this I'm almost sure it would be a violation.

I've heard of pack cribs or packn plays in infant room, older kids cots or mats - with a crib sheet.

no - never saw a child sleeping in a stroller in any care my child was in or even in any I've visited.
