iphone recovery from water?
DD thought it would be fun to toss my iPhone into the toilet this morning It's crazy how quick these little monsters are (& I mean monster in the most loving way ) I got up for a split second to close the door so she couldn't escape & when I turned around she threw it right in!!! Anyone have luck drying it out & working again or is that just ridiculous wishful thinking?

Re: iphone recovery from water?
Take it apart and put it in a container of uncooked rice. Seal it tight and leave it for 24-28 hours...

DH dropped his Droid in the garbage can outside which had about 6 inches of rainwater in it. He put it in a bowl of rice for 3-4 days and it finally turned back on. He ended up getting a new one before it fixed but it works!

Mine worked post a dunk in a swimming pool after being left in dried rice and as many silica gel packets as I could find around the house.
