what is your 7 month old eating/drinking

How many oz, how much food? Is it still all breastmilk/formula or did you start water? Sippy cup or still all bottles?

My DS is 7 months. He takes about 25-28oz of Breastmilk a day and eats 3 jars of food..We don't do any ceral because it constipated him. He doesn't like puffs and almost seems to choke on them so we are done with those for now.
I am wondering if I should be adding more...Also, he has no idea what to do with the sippy cup and plays with it instead of drinking from it...Is 7 months the time for a sippy cup?

Re: what is your 7 month old eating/drinking

My dd drinks a 6 oz bottle when she first wakes up.
Breakfast: Oatmeal and fruit (a 4 oz jar or something homemade).

-2 hours later another 6 oz bottle

-Lunch: 4 oz of a vegetable

-2 hours later a 6oz bottle

Dinner: 4 oz of meat with a vegetable and oatmeal

Sometimes she will have a bottle before bed. It depends on the type of day we had. I would love to hear what others give bc I never know if I'm feeding too much or too little.

Ours eats about the same.

No sippy cup yet... We did ds when we got rid of the bottle at about 1 year.

Puffs come soon.

Baby mum mum are ok.

Re: what is your 7 month old eating/drinking

My son is not into bottles anymore. Im lucky if I can get him to drink 15oz a day so we do a lot of baby food and one yogurt a day. He got constipated on rice so we do oatmeal once a day with a fruit. For lunch I try a bottle but then do a fruit and a veggie, at 3 I give him a yogurt and then for dinner we introduced chicken so he will have a chicken with sweet potatoes, or a mac and cheese with veggies along with another can of veggies or fruit. I give him one last bottle at 7 with his medicine. He is not a fan of puffs but our feeding therapist taught us how to put them in on the side of his mouth so he is using his molars, to push down on them.
Call me this weekend so we can catch up and discuss more.

I have my dd on a feeding schedule because it makes life easier for us because we're always on the run.

730 am 6oz bottle

1030 am 4oz jar of fruit w/ a small amount of oatmeal.

130 pm 6oz bottle

430pm 4oz of meat & veggies

730pm: 6oz bottle.

In between we give her sippy cups of water or diluted baby apple juice (in the tommy tippee ones for 6 months + are great, especially because she's teething) Her pediatrician said today she's eating enough but we can start introducing her to puffs and 3rd stage foods but he's insisting that we start weening her off the bottle now.

My DS still has 4 bottles a day...he has an early bottle between 5am - 6am...then eats fruit and cereal and bottle at 9:30, bottle and jar of veggies at 1:30, bananas and cereal at 5:30 - 6ish (to be replaced with chicken and veggies this week!) then bottle before bed at 8pm.
I give him the sippee cup once a day with water, but he really just plays with it at this point. i will keep giving it to him so he gets used to it. my ped said no real food or even puffs until 9 mths so i am waiting until then.

Re: what is your 7 month old eating/drinking

my son does 4 bottles a day. Mostly 5 ounces a bottle. he's cut down a lot.

6:45 am 5 ounce bottle
8:15 oatmeal and prunes
10:30 5 ounce bottle
12:00 fruit/veggie
3:30 5 ounce bottle
4:30/5 veggie
6:30 5 ounce bottle

we've tried puffs and he gags and throws up. So that's at a stand still.

I've given him tiny tiny pieces of pancake and he loves them.

He likes his sippy cup and i've even given him formula in it.
