Annoying new FB app feature
Has anyone else noticed that now when you send a private message through FB the smart phone app tells you if the person or people you sent it to read it? I'm not sure if it does this when using FB on a computer as well. Is it just me or is that kind of annoying? Now I feel like I have to write back to everyone right away so they don't think I'm ignoring them.

thats not new its been there for a while. Im not aware of any way to shut that off.

On my phone I just have it to off. It's send read receipts under messages in settings.

Where r u seeing that option. The only thing in my settings is to shut off location svc ... And that's on the fb and fb messenger app

Im looking at settings on FB app on my phone but can't find messaging....only for push notifications..
Where else would the settings for messages be?
