toddler mattress
I need one for DD's toddler bed. We originally only bought a crib mattress and now that we've converted to a toddler bed its too hard and she does not like it.

toddler mattress
I didn't know there was an actual "toddler mattress" ... I used the original crib mattress for both.

toddler mattress is the same thing as a crib mattress. if she thinks its too firm you need to purchase a softer/thicker crib mattress.
if thats the case, you might as well go to a twin or full.
we never used a toddler bed for that reason alone... both my kids hated the crib, and i think the mattress had a LOT to do with it, because once the kids went into twins they slept much better.

ds is still using the crib mattress...... when he stops liking it next up will be a twin size bed with rails.

a toddler mattress is softer than the infant crib mattress, our crib mattress has an infant side and a toddler side so we just have to flip it when she gets older. We got it at BBB in Westbury, the guy who works in that section was VERY helpful

In hindsight I should have bought one like that but we just bought one that is hard on both sides. I didn't expect DD to be done with her crib this early but she's done with hit. I think she is too little for a real big kid bed (15 mos) so now I need to get a softer mattress for the toddler bed
