My dd is turning 5. (5!!!)
The picture on her invite is her in my il's pool. It's just a very cute pic, that why I chose it.
Would that indicate to you that she's having a pool party?
There is nothing about bring a towel, or bathing suit either.

Unless it said on the invite specifically that it's a pool party, then no I would not think it is one. I would just think it's a cute pic from this summer.

No a pool photo does not imply pool party at all. Given that here its nearly natural to have a pool party for summer birthdays we still wouldn't assume a pool photo equals pool party only because there are so many options. The invite has to SAY pool party and SAY bring your swimsuits type thing.
