Would I be crazy to do this
Fly at 20 weeks preggo with a 21 month old lap child?
We want to go see my sister in Florida with my twins and figured we would squeeze in one more "free" flight for the kids before they turn 2 then I remembered I am pregnant!
Do you think it is doable?

At 20 weeks it's definitely doable. But if the flights aren't too much, get one extra seat so you have more wiggle room.

Re: Would I be crazy to do this
With someone else with you or alone with the 21 month old? I'm 13 weeks and flew last week roundtrip to Florida with DD who is 17 months and it was no problem because I had my husband with me. Tomorrow I'm flying alone with her to my sister's in NC. That should be a bit more challenging! I always bring the ipad and we have episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba on it that she watches and stays quiet for. That and crazy amounts of snacks and toys and we're good!

My DH will be with me but we have twins so we will each have a baby. I'm only 10 weeks now and I could def do it but I am worried by then I will have a belly as I am already showing!
Thanks for the input!

Thanks! Money is kind of tight especially now that we are expecting our 3rd so trying to avoid the extra seat if possible.

Re: Would I be crazy to do this
If you're flying during a non busy time, you "may" get lucky enough to have an empty seat near you. What I would suggest is booking you and your husband in the aisle and window, leaving the middle seat empty. Most people won't chose that seat unless its a full flight. We got lucky like that a few times. You can also go to the person at the gate and check if there's somewhere they can move you on the plane that may have a little more space. They may put you towards the back, but at least you would have some extra room.

Most likely whoever is in your row will ask to move so I wouldn't pay for the extra seat.

What you don't think a person would want to sit in between dh and I and almost 2 year old twins
