Thanks for asking.. I usually put my updates on my original thread. he's doing better. They ended up doing 4 surgeries tore out a very large part of his thigh. But he's off dialysis and just yesterday they finally regulated his blood sugar so he should recover faster. The lady who took his blood the first day thought he'd die that night is surprised to see him walking around.
He was originally slated to be there 8weeks now they are talking another week max before he can go home.
Yes, I berated the heck out of him. He needs to watch his blood sugar all the time, not just when he feels bad. He apologized for the "I wanna die now" crap he pulled. He swears he is going to concentrate on him from now on. I wish I could believe him but I know my 'mom' (stepmother) will be a terror to come home to.
But health wise, Dad is doing better. I am back to calling him daily for our daily chats. Those days without talking to him felt so empty.
Thank you all. My dad's recovery has been my best bday present to date (minus my daughter lol)
