Talking back
What do you do about the talking back? I really have no tolerance for this and DS is in his bed right now because of the amount of times he has talked back to us today. We give him a lot of praise when he is doing good but when he is having a bad day, he is nasty. Any suggestions?

Walk away.
Take a break.
I have stopped engaging the back talk. if I ignore Logan a few minutes SOMETIMES that helps. Not always but sometimes.
I realize the more I engage it by telling him to not back talk the worse it gets.

My only other suggestion is to pray hard for summer to end quickly so you can go back to work

I do hat you do n put him in his bed. I explain that that's not okay and if he continues I will take away things he likes such as reading a book in bed at night or special snack he gets. It's helped a little but some days are worse than others.
