Joint pain after baby
Has anyone had bad joint pain after having their LO? I had my 2nd DD 4 weeks ago and am suffering from severe pain in my wrists and now it's starting in my shoulder and knuckles. It's so bad that it's very hard fr me to even pick up my baby  Went to the dr and blood work came up negative for rheumatoid arthritis, and Im going for a nerve test tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

right after having Dd #2 my knees. lower back and neck were killing me.
I spoke with my doctor and she said there should be an improvement by 3 months
Dd is almost 10 weeks old and even though I do not feel 100% I do feel a big improvement from when she was 4 weeks.

My sister had severe pain in one of her wrists. It went away in about 3-4 months.

Joint pain after baby
After giving birth, I was barely able to open my hands in the mornings, I used to drop everything, and my wrist hurt. Most days, my fingers would click open like a robot. It slowly got better. It's been about nine months since, and my hands still get numb if I hold them in a cretain position for some time, and I still drop things more than I ded pre-pregnancy. My doc said that sometimes, sudden swelling will cause the joints to go haywire and it takes a while for them to get back to normal.

I had hip and wrist pain for about 3-4 months after DD #3

Thank you all for your replies. GLad to know I'm not the only one, but boy is it painful!! Hopefully it goes away soon.

Yes! I am 16 PP and I still have bad lower back pain. Last week it was awful. I'm going back to my doctor to have it checked out again.
