? regarding cross shape bakery cakes for baptism...
Did you have to pay for a full sheet cake to do this and did it feed the amount of what a half sheet serves?
I'm thinking of doing a cross cake shape but might have to order an additional round cake to serve out.
If you've done this type of cake how many people did it serve?

just my two cents, but I would do the cake and maybe some cupcakes, etc. Whenever I have a party, there is ALWAYS cake leftover. Not everyone eats cake.

? regarding cross shape bakery cakes for baptism...
I got our cross cake from Dortonis in Levittown and they can alter the size to accomodate the number of people you have. I think ours was supposed to feed 50 people, but we had half leftover. It was huge.

I had ours made from a full sheet cake and it was HUGE!!! We cut slightly larger then normal pieces and had a LOT leftover. We fed about 40 adults and 15 kids at the party.

same place - we got the cake to feed 50 and had a ton left over. if you have other desserts, not everyone eats the cake anyway. btw the cake was delicious!
