8 month old NOT sleeping thru the night- help!
For the last few months, my DS is not sleeping thru the night. He will wake up one to two bottles and finish them!
Ped says just let him cry it out.
Friends said put oatmeal in bottles.
Tried both.
Anything other suggestions?????

My son has been up almost everynight lately too. I think he is just going through soem growth thing and hopefully it will pass.
Someone once told me that wakign up is usually a precursor to an even....teeth, walking, crawling.

Teething? Also my DS woke a lot right before he started crawling and walking.

Wait it out. Unfortunately that's easier said then done though. DS started waking up around 3-4am from about 9 months to almost a year and would drink a full 7-8 ounce bottle!! Just as quickly as it started, it stopped. He was teething, standing and starting to walk and going through a growth spurt too.

There's a reason why your child is waking up at night-- either he is hungry, uncomfortable or just needs your comfort. My best advice is to try to respond to those needs as best you can. It's perfectly normal for an infant not to sttn. Hopefully it gets better for you soon!

Maybe put some water in the bottles. I have heard then they don't want it anymore because it's not milk
