TALENTED TYKES - daycare closed and I need the Tax ID#!!
Does anyone know if there is another way to get this information?
I am heartbroken and kinda freaked out that they closed due to violations. But realistically, I need their tax id# for the daycare credit! It's a good amount of money!

Maybe if you post the name another parent will be able to give you the info.

Good thinking, thanks!
It was Talented Tykes in Farmingdale.
I just tried calling the LI Regional Office for Daycare Centers and they don't have it either. Worse case, I don't put a number and let the IRS bounce our return back and I will send a letter explaining the situation.

Thank you so much! That's who I called based on the entry in the NYS database and they said they didn't have it!

The daycare was never shut down because of violations. The economy was bad and the owners contacted all the parents.
If you still need the info write back

The parents were informed the day care shut down due to the economy.
It had nothing to do with violations.
Write back for info.
Also the center merged

It blows my mind how people randomly make names to answer posts. It really makes me wonder how many people are lurking!
