carseat not compatible with car?
Before my daughter was born we had her infant seat installed and the guy told me our convertible seat (Evenflo Symphony 65 LX) wouldn't be compatible with my car (2011 Sonata). Has anyone ever had issues with this? I've never heard of such a thing but now I'm worried she won't be safe.

Re: carseat not compatible with car?
how would it not be compatible? I have a symphony (the regular one, not the LX) and a 2003 Chevy Cavalier. DS is rear facing still at 22 months and I dont have a problem. The only thing I was told that was "bad" was that because the passenger seat has to be moved up a bit the person sitting there would be at a greater danger for an injury from an airbag because they're closer.
Maybe they ment it's not compatible for the middle? My car does not have LATCH for the middle, and the center seatbelt is a detachable one so it's not safe to use a carseat there. I have DS on the passenger side right now, and when the new little one comes in January I will move him to the drivers side (he will be FF by then) and put the RF infant on the passenger side. (although I am hoping that we have a new car by then !!!)
Maybe make an appointment with a different person and ask them??
