bouncer and slydos party question
I was going to have a party here for my DS 2nd bday. I feel like the pump it up places which I do like are too big for his age group right now.
Is 30 minutes in the partyroom enough time to eat and have cake?

Re: bouncer and slydos party question
It is quick but honestly that is the standard no matter where you go - every place we have looked at the food part was only 30 mins. BTW my DD#1 had her 3rd party there and we went to a 5 year old party for a friend of DD"s this year - both were great and the kids had a blast.

Re: bouncer and slydos party question
We did a place in Valley Stream. The Childrens Safari. We had an hour in the play area. Perfect for young kids. We had ages 18 month-10 years...

Re: bouncer and slydos party question
BTW have you checked it out recently. We were there today and I found that they really changed their layout and took out some of the bouncers that she loved. But it is probably a bit younger now.

its ok if big ones are out DS will be turning 2 so I am looking for a place that has smaller bouncers so that DS isn't too intimidated

Re: bouncer and slydos party question
Yes mickey is still there. They took out the larger slide in the back corner, the huge round one that had the slope with hoops the the kids loved and a smaller obsticle one and replaced them with a huge to the ceiling slide that you go in one side with small obsticle then a to the ceiling slide. That one is not good for little ones but the others are all great! She was sad about the old obsticle course one and the large round one that was good for all ages to jump and roll around. The new slide is great for older kidsbut my Dd and at least 2 others I saw ended up with burns (like a rug type burn). I like the place and loved it for DD's party but the new layout was harder to watch your child as the old layout was more where the bouncers lined the walls. Now the pirate ship and that one with the swinging balls is in the milddle of the room to make room for the new slide which runs from one end of the room to the back wall on the left when you enter. They also put in a small dancefloor and little dj type booth. We had fun but they were just disappointed in the new layout and their favorites were gone.

what a bummer for their favs to be gone. My DS doesn't know any better yet LOL! It is good there is a bigger slide my friends kids range from 2-7 so that will work for the older kids. AS long as Mickey is not gone...he loves loves mickey mouse! Hmm I have to see the layout but I know there will be many grandparents and aunts watching DS on his bday party LOL

Re: bouncer and slydos party question
It is def good for 2 yr party. The other mom we were with said it was hard to watch this way. But at a party it is all your guests so you don't have to be as vigilant as open play.

Re: bouncer and slydos party question
we recently went to a party there & i really liked it. The kids had the bouncers to themselves and the party time was just enough. If they have too much time then they want to go back out and bounce (which they cant do).
