Went to one recently at the Commack location and it was great! My DS just turned 2, and he was the youngest but still had so much fun; there were about 12 kids at the party ranging up to 10 and all the kids had a blast. They have games and rides for ALL ages. The parents had fun too! I dont' know about price but I know you seem to get a lot included. There was pizza for the kids, and they all got cups of tokens. They give away a TON of tickets to all of the kids and the birthday boy/girl gets hundreds of extra tickets too. My friend had it on a Friday afternoon and the place was empty, we were the only party so we got a lot of attention. Also liked the security, all the kids and parents are scanned when they come in, and again when you leave. So you know your kids can't escape :) I would definitely recommend it :)

Re: Chuck. E. Cheese

We went to a CEC party for a 3yo and DS had a blast.

7:30PM is waaaaaay too late for a kid's birthday party. I don't think evening birthday parties are very popular.

4:00 or 5:00 would be better. I would recommend not doing a Friday night because working parents won't be able to come or be inconvenienced.

I would pick crowded on a Saturday or Sunday vs a Friday night.

Re: Chuck. E. Cheese

Had my daughter's 4th birthday there (the patchogue location) memorial day weekend and it was awesome. We had it on Monday at 11am and it was perfect. The kids had a great time. It was early enought that it was still very clean and not crowded at all.

She still talks about it.

If you have any questions, let me know.

I would try to figure out when is the least busy time on Saturday or Sunday. I haven't been there in years but maybe the earliest morning party would be better than an afternoon?

We went to a morning one on the weekend and it wasn't that crowded in the beginning. It was the first time I had been back to CEC since I was a kid (20+yrs ago). It did get very crowded towards lunch. I thought it was fine because we already played for about an hour and we were sitting at the tables for lunch.

We had a small family party for DS at that location. Did 11am on a Sunday and it was perfect! We pretty much had the place to ourselves in the beginning, but it did get crowded as the day went on.

I love that location, it's great, and has so many kiddie things. I would absolutely not do a party there on a Saturday during the day though. Maybe it's less busy around 4pm or 5pm? I would go on a weekend and see if it clears out by then. It's miserable in there on the weekend to be honest.

We have had two parties there in the past. Both on weeknights at like 5:30, and just about every single person attended.

I recently went to a party there on a Sunday morning and it was not very crowded. I would not do a party at 7:30 on a friday night. My 3 year old is in bed sleeping at that timeChat Icon
