Dutch Wonderland or Sesame Place

for a 3.5 year old and 16 mth old

We are thinking of driving to MD to visit family, but want to stop along the way.

Sesame Place would be less out of the way, but I keep hearing great things about DW, BUT I'm also wondering if my kids (mostly the 16 mth old) are old enough to enjoy it.

Dutch Wonderland is a much better experience than Sesame Place. Sesame Place is mostly water activities, feels much more crowded, has less shade and longer lines. Dutch Wonderland is much more spread out and is just a more fun place to let a toddler explore. Has water too if its a hot day, but plenty to do if it isn't.

Went to both a couple of weeks ago. WOuld never go back to Dutch Wonderland, it was old, run down, and dirty. Sesame place was great! My DD who is 2 had a great time! From what I'm reading from another post, many people like DW because of childhood memories. It was the first time I went but also the last.
