Two beautiful moments in the Olympics--track related
These two Olympics stories have made me feel so much joy. If you hadn't heard about these (I'm really into track events), totally worth the read.
Pistorius and James trade bibs
Mo Farah and Galen Rupp

Thanks for posting! I work in PR and have had the honor of arranging some interviews for Jerome Singleton, a single amputee who is competing in the 2012 London Paralympics (starting Aug 29). He and Oscar Pistorius compete against each other all the time! it's so amazing Oscar made it to qualify in the regular Olympics. Jerome is also such an inspiring athlete - check out the article below-

You would have thought I was a die hard Jets fan watching the Super Bowl winning touchdown during the Mens 10000m. I was up on my feet, screaming!
Just to add another great track moment

Wow! Super cool. considering I nearly died in shock when I saw the American Flag FALL during the other Gold Ceremony. I sat on my couch, hand to chest with a huge gasp "OH GOD NO!" and Jim looked over. Military Brat, I could feel like ears get hot just thinking of "OMG the flag!"

Those were all awesome. Forgive me for my sports ignorance but, what is the deal with switching bibs?

I saw Pistorius and James exchanging bibs on TV - very touching. Very classy of Bolt to pause his interview.

I think for Kirani James to do this spoke volumes. He is favored to win, and I'm not sure if he meant to make such a statement, but it definitely said that HE accepted him at the Olympics (despite what some critics have been saying about Pistorius being there/having an advantage)
Also, there is a lot of trading at the Olympics, even among spectators. I went to the Atlanta Olympics and the pin trading was crazy,
