Name label help

I am going to order name labels for my son starting Pre-K this year. All their belongings have to be labeled.

I want to personalize them with our last name instead of his first name because his little brother will get hand-me-downs and I don't want to have to order more labels if not necessary.

How can I word it with a limited amount of characters? (Our last name is 4 letters)

Property of C_ _ _

This belongs to a C_ _ _ kid (too many letters)
