AMC Cancels 'The Killing' After Two Seasons
AMC’s critically acclaimed drama The Killing has been canceled after two seasons.
“After much deliberation, we’ve come to the difficult decision not to renew The Killing for a third season,” the network said in a statement (via TV Line). “AMC is incredibly proud of the show and is fortunate to have worked with such a talented team on this project, from showrunner Veena Sud and our terrific partners at Fox Television Studios to the talented, dedicated crew and exceptional cast.”
The Killing starred Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman as detectives trying to solve the murder of a teenage girl, a storyline which was wrapped up at the end of the second season.

Eh.
I'm still pissed they lied about revealing the killer after season 1.
But I guess they realized that once Rosie's killer was revelaled, that was it.
It was a good series while it lasted.

Bummer. But they screwed up dragging the murder out for two seasons. I adore crime dramas, but I don't have the attention span. I didn't even make it to the season finale. They should have followed the Danish original more closely, which is on its third or fourth season, a new crime each season, and it's super-popular in several countries.
