Vomiting overnight, fine during the day?
Does anyone have any experience with their LO voming overnight but acting totaly fine during the day? Since Saturday, DD (2yo) has had loose stools, but acting totally fine otherwise. The last two mornings I have gone in to wake her and her crib is full of vomit (gross, sorry). She doesnt cry out call for us or anything. What the heck? I brought her to the doctor yesterday and they thought probably a vírus, but the fact that she was acting totally fine by the time we got to the appt I was surprised to wake up with her having been so sick again. Any ideas?

Vomiting overnight, fine during the day?
DS and I have had a virus like that. You feel good during the day so you eat and whatnot and then in the evening, you suddenly get sick again. It takes a little longer to leave your system than the normal stomach virus - I think it took DS about a week and I had it for 5 days. It was horrible.

sorry your lo is going through this. does sound like a virus. glad she's at least not feeling bogged down by it.
my ds was vomiting out of no where yesterday morning, but was in usual spirits throughout the day. no bm yet though, so we're waiting on the verdict on that one.
hope it pases quickly for you.

The vomiting seems to have stopped but the diarrhea continues - hopefully will be done soon!

Sometimes a short virus can cause longer but temporary lactose intolerance. Try stopping dairy for a week or two. I know for ds, he drinks milk at night- so he would throw that up in the night and be okay during the day- the very minimal dairy during the day I guess wasn't enough to make him sick.

Dairy makes the diarrhea last longer... Try and cut it out for a few days or cut back on it..
