Looking for 2 year old preschools in suffolk.

My DH may be going from Nights to days. He has taken care of our DD since she was born so I am a little nervous and don't know what to expect. I was going to put her in daycare but then I heard there are 2 year old preschools. I live in Patchogue and was wondering if anyone knows of a really good, clean school. Also how much does something like this usually go for? My daughter Ava will be 3 in February. Thank you!Chat Icon

Kiddie Kampus West in Bayport (Montauk Hwy) has a Toddler Program 18M-3 years. The owners have been in business forever. We are sending our DS when he turns 18M. We actually just put our deposit in because they said they are filling up. So if you are interested I would get in for a visit.

Also...$ depends on how many days a week she goes--and half or full day. This place is not one of the inexpensive ones, but it is a good and clean place. I think full time is somewhere around $1050

Yes I'm not sure what the difference is. When I think of a daycare, I think of somewhere like a Tutor Time yet they do songs, activities, snack, etc. A full day Preschool for age 2 would do the same things.

I guess it would be different if it was a residential daycare (I'm not saying they don't do activities) but maybe it would be less structured or more free-play.

ETA: I think for age 2 they don't call it "preschool" and might call it a "Toddler Program".

Exactly. DD is in daycare- Tutor Time- but trust me when I tell you they do TONS of learning activities. Structured activites, etc

It's pretty much the same thing at that age.

Our DD goes to the Y in Patchogue as well; she started going when it opened and, we like it. I suggest looking into it!
