I love stormy weather! All the sites I've looked at today list a 40-60% chance of precipitation and not anything alarming about winds...it drives me nuts when there are such huge differences in the predicted forecasts! I want a dang storm!

I don't mind the rain and stuff, but after the tornado that whipped thru my neighborhood back in 2010, I'm scared about the really big trees that are in the front and back of my home.
Two were been hit by lightning last year, thankfully the only damage is a black streak running down each trunk.

I can't figure out if everyone is talking about the weather because there is nothing else to talk about or it's a real concern.
Looking at NOAA, I'm not seeing much in terms of warning for LI. More Connecticut, Bronx.

It's either the weather or the house raid in Medford.
I'm in NE Queens, close to the water by the Throgs Neck Bridge. According to the maps and that lovely shade of red, should be hit hard.

ahhh!!!! Be safe!!! I hope you have somewhere sheltered to go in case of an emergency!! You have to watch out for falling trees, regardless of a tornado!
