gas pains
My DS was EBF for the first 5 1/2 months. Introduced solids 1x a day and then increased now to 2x a day (he is 6 months). His bowel movements are now so inconsistent and even worse, he is always farting and then crying. He went from sleeping 10-11 hours a night to farting and waking up every 45 min. On top of that, I am trying to have him take 5oz of formula a day because I am going away and want to make sure I have enough breastmilk for the whole time I am gone. I want to make sure he is comfortable for my DH. He spits out the nutrimagen (he has a milk allergy) and refuses to drink it. I don't know if that could be doing it. Anyone have any advice?

Are you giving him cereal? Or fruits and vegetables? Have you tried mixing the formula with BM ?
