How do you have your playroom organized?
The contractors are almost done the playroom in the basement. I know we will have a couch and tv in there and the train table from PBK which will double as a coffee table. We are looking into an entertainment/hold toys system from PBK as well. I will be down there most of the day just me and the boys when we are home. What will I need?
I'm thinking a pack and play for my 3 month old. A place for diapers and wipes and to change them. I have an easel and art supplies...I'm thinking maybe an art station?
What else? How do you ladies have your playrooms set up? I want it to be like a family room/playroom. A place that I can relax..100% baby proof but where DS can play with his toys, have fun and be organized.
Do you have stations for like music and art or anything else?
What is on your walls? I'm conflicted if I should make it more family room looking or go all out with kids colors on the walls and a quote or something. I know it will def be nautical themed.

How do you have your playroom organized?
I would probably try to do a mix of family room/playroom in the decor. I don't know how your space is but can you kinda lay it out half and half? Have the couch area be a bit more "adult" but still totally kid friendly and the other side more bright/toys, etc? I bet if you search around online, esp on HGTV.com you might see some examples of this.
Not sure if you have room but I would want a book shelf, we're big into reading and could really use a book shelf! Also, a big soft ottoman that doubles as storage is great for kids and makes hiding things away easier. We have one in our livingroom and I love it.
Do you intend to entertain adults down there or will just you and DH lounge there to watch tv? That would definitely influence how adult I decorated.
