I have a question, has anyone gotten pregnant, while not TTC and using PNP? My AF isn't due until next week, but we dtd on days I was ovulating and now I am just a little worried i might be pg, my boobs are sore, which was always a sign of pregnancy for me, but occasionally it will be before AF, not every time but sometimes. I am not adverse to another baby, we weren't trying, but we weren't not trying, I was just wondering if anyone has really gotten pregnant this way, I know it's possible, but you never know

Just thought I would introduce myself, I am fairly new to LI, been here just about 5 years. My SIL just told me about this site, it is so informative!! I love it! I have a 3 yo daughter, and I am pregnant with a boy, due November. I am so excited!

Well this is interesting.
I'm working late tonight. This is the only kind of thing (besides the pay) that makes all my OT and time away from my kids tolerable.

Well this is interesting.
To be fair in a later post she states it was a guess at her 12wk appointment so she must have been much further along. Who the hell knows anymore about people on here or on the internet in general.

I thought about that, but then her daycare post was just so far out of left field that I really don't think any of it is real.

According to her 5/7 post, AF was due the following week, say 5/14. Then one week after, that, 5/21, she's 12 weeks along? If she's irregular that's one thing but if she expected AF a week before her apparent 12 week appt., it sounds like she has a regular cycle and would have most likely known she was PG well before the 5/7 post. KWIM?

Who cares. It's not like any post was asking for something other than advice. Maybe the pregnancy one was on behalf of a friend she was with or something.

Well this is interesting.
Now I feel like an ass for giving her my daycare information.
In her post that is dated 5/21 (above) it states she is fairly new to LI-5 years but I did a search of her name and she posted on a thread about Levittown and states that she grew up in Levittown and went to Island Trees.
There is also another post that is talking about the daycare she brings her "kids" to, yet she has only said she has one DD and is pregnant with a boy.
I also thought that in the Daycare post from yesterday she mentioned that her son used to go to the daycare and there were never any issues. I could be wrong on this fact.
I am pretty upset with myself for having fallen in to the "tricks" of a poster. I usually stay out of things but I just felt so bad yesterday and when she said she was in the levittown area I wanted to help her out. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Re: Well this is interesting.
Yea the whole daycare thing is real, and when that center closes because I called child services, I guess we will see. I used to work in Daycare, I know what it's like.
I am pregnant, so thanks for playing. My sister was a little worried and asked if I could ask. Why does it matter anyway. I didn't want to say for a friend, it was just easier to say in first person.
My concern was daycare and how you never know what is really going on, and it was scary hearing all about the things that you will never know about. I contacted a few parents that go there, and let them know.
What was so unbelievable? That they left a kid outside? I am sure it was accidental, but it happens, I am not defending the center, but it does happen. Yes the 4 year old teacher/director is a witch. She needs to be fired. She plays nicely with the parents, but when they are gone, she turns. Obviously I am not on here to cause trouble, otherwise I would have said the name, the center all that fun stuff, but I don't want to cause trouble.
Let me tell you what happened when I worked at a well known daycare, two four year olds were found naked in the bathroom and she was kissing his winkie...does that sound believable, it doesn't, but it happened.
And the kids aren't being hit, but they are being yelled at, and berated, and belittled. So maybe it's not full abuse, and maybe no hand soap in the bathrooms doesn't bother most people, but it bothers me. There are three centers and this is the worst, and it's all because of the director. 3 people just quit from there, hence the hiring back of the thief, the drunk and the other one. Bottom line is the director doesn't care, she is old and has had enough and it's showing.

I really hope you found a solution for daycare and that your DD is in a safe environment.

Re: Well this is interesting.
Thank you. I did. She will be put in pre-k. For now my Dh is working from home. The rest of the summer is going to be a day by day type of thing, but at least she is out of there.
I just wish the childcare council had been more informative, they said they would look into it. They aren't going to find much just because it's all heresy and stuff that had happened a long time ago. There haven't been any new going-ons in a few months, aside from the yelling at the kids.

By posting all the information you have, you have implied the school. I am not going to state its name, however, if a child is being berated and belittled it is abuse. And no hand soap is disgusting and against regulations.

If you called the STATE, they have an obligation to investigate allegations within a certain amount of days. The child care council does nothing.

Well this is interesting.
I figured out exactly which child care you are talking about, and it is one my friend was considering for her son. I will be sure to tell her to scratch this place off her list. If all of this is true, I hope that the state does the right thing and shuts it down.

I call her bluff (I did at the beginning).... I do not believe one word this poster says.
If you ar so concerned about your kid's safety why would you continue to post throughout the whole ordeal. Any sane person would think, let me update my cyber-friends at a later date.
Go ahead.... respond to me, I don't care

Re: Well this is interesting.
I feel terrible for this child care center if someone is out there destroying their name and none of it is true. SHe never mentioned the name of the school, but she gave away the location and said how many locations they had...dead giveaway.

Sorry but I completely agree. I don't care who believes this poster, I don't, and I wanted to present the reasons why for anyone else who was skeptical like me.
