What do YOU wear to a water park?

Thinking of taking the kids to splish splash this week...must be out of my mind but my 6 year old has been begging to go all summer.

I dont wear a bathing suit unless I have no choice and then I will wear it but not like wearing it. I am assuming I will have to wear a bathing suit so I can go in the water with my 2 year old but can I wear a sarong while we are at the sprinkler areas etc or am I am going to be barely it all in its not so pretty state for all to see?

Anytime I've gone to Splish Splash I've always worn a bathing suit with a long T shirt over it because the slides burn your back and give you wedgies!

I bought a two piece suit - tankini style, but the bottom is skirted. It is so cute! And I don't feel so self conscious walking around it as it provides some coverage and if you get a wedgie from a ride, no one will see.

I haven't been in a long time but I always covered up. Some rides they tell you must take it off to go on but you can do that right before you get on hole it for the ride and then put back on after.

I wear a bathing suit and a cover up. The cover up is actually a jersey knit dress I got at Motherhood Maternity when I was PG. It is made of a similar material to swimsuits so it is perfect. I feel covered up and it can get wet in the spray park. I just wear my swim suit for the rides though.
