When you start out making beef stew but end up making beef and noodles instead because you are too tired to finish beef stew.
Almost 30 w and I have no energy , I'm "fine" all day but by 4 pm I am done and ready to go to sleep , it's like I'm back to my first trimester + terrible lower back ache Chat Icon
A very nice woman with 2 kids came up to me at Trader Joes today and told me I am the most beautiful pregnant woman she has seen in a long time , I wanted to smack her in the head with a French baguette because I feel anything but beautiful, I feel like I want to cry am so miserable some days, my groin hurts, my back hurts, have horrible heartburn, my stomach is all messed up , I barely sleep at night , no time to take naps bc DD doesn't nap any more and now my feet are swelling so no , I don't feel so beautiful Chat Icon
The only thing that makes this whole thing all better is this little pumpkin moving around and kicking me full force , every time I feel him move my heart melts

I can't believe you cook at all anymore. I haven't cooked since my raw chicken aversion started at around 10 weeks. You're amazing!!!!!!!

I love to cook and cook at least 6 nights a week and I mean I really cook, all the fresh stuff and all, lol. People seem to be surprised when I mention cooking but I hate take out and if I don't cook no one else will, so we'll have to starve Chat Icon
But this week I've been so tired and really haven't been cooking much , just simple things like pasta and so on. Plus I just finished summer (get the place ready for the baby) cleaning that took almost a week so all my energy was spent on that , so I am just done ...

I love to cook too! I just can't figure out how to do it with my toddler underfoot. I'm hoping by the time #2 is a toddler, #1 can entertain/contain him and I'll be able to cook again. Chat Icon

I know just how you feel!!

I have started making the most simple meals because everything I cook seems to complicated now. At 34 weeks, I can't even get too close to the gas stove or my belly gets hot so luckily since its summer, I am doing lots of salads and other types of meals.

And when people are like wow you only have 6 more weeks left, doesn't it go fast?!? I want to smack them as well because for me... I am so uncomfortable at this point... every single day feels like I survived a week!

Use a crockpot. Dump the crap in in the morning and it will be done at dinner time!

I have that chicken aversion too! I used to cook chicken like 3 times/week. I cant stand it. The thought of touching it makes me sick and the thought of eating it unless its VERY fried chicken fingers makes me want to throw up.
