Baby girl urinating on changing table
Does anyone else's DD urinate on the changing table? My almost 4-week-old does this at least once per day. I'm thinking that it's from the cold of the air and wipe, but I wasn't sure if this was common. You always hear about little boys urinating while being changed, not girls!

DD does this once in a while. She seems to go through phases where it happens a few times a day and then hardly at all. She also pees in the bath every single time I put her in it.

Re: Baby girl urinating on changing table
My DD did that for a while everytime she was being changed. To make it worse somehow it shot forward! I would usually just open the diaper and then hold it there for a few seconds to see if she was going to pee before I took the old off.

Re: Baby girl urinating on changing table
For girls it usually just trickles down into the diaper so it's not usually a big deal. DD did this a lot as a newborn, I just attributed to being cold when we took the diaper off.

She did it all the time when she was that age - it gets better. Hasn't happened in a while now (she's almost 9m).

Re: Baby girl urinating on changing table
Yup...my DD does this. Not all the time but usually once every couple of days. I'm just thankful it goes down and not all over everywhere like when a boy does it

Dd did this sometimes. We had a disposable changing pad under her at all times and extras at the ready

Re: Baby girl urinating on changing table
Its very common with boys and girls. I think it is the cold air. When changing their diaper as a baby I always opened it a little bit, waited and then opened it all the way LOL Ive been peed on way too much LOL

Baby girl urinating on changing table
DD did this all the time for quite a while, I'm going to say up till 6-8mo or so. We always kept a waterproof pad on top of the changing pad cover and constantly had to change them. We got to be pros at the lightning fast diaper change for this reason. She eventually grew out of it and I can't remember the last time she did it. When they're little they pee very frequently so I think it's totally normal.
