YUP!
BUT, I do find it scary how her "plan" to leave him was done the way it was. for all intents and purposes she was basically waiting for him to be half way across the world, when she made her great escape. What kind of person is he that she needed to plan this at least 6 weeks in advance (According to People)

I agree about the business deal but what I don't understand is how does Suri fall in to that deal? If the marriage was "for show" then why bring a child in to it? Maybe Katie really did love him.

I think the whole purpose of their marriage and having a biological child was so he could prove he wasn't gay....and since she knows he IS gay, boom divorce settled.

I think the whole purpose of their marriage and having a biological child was so he could prove he wasn't gay....and since she knows he IS gay, boom divorce settled.
If by Biological you mean; Chris Klein's baby..... then yes, yes Suri is Tom's child.

I believe they had this all ironed out previously too. From what I hear, they had their pre-nup and some kind of agreement in place when they first got married already so the only sticking point is Suri...everything else should be cut and dry.

I gotta say, I'm so freakin' intrigued by their divorce. I don't ever follow celebrity divorces, but for some reason I find this whole thing fascinating.

I didn't either and the fact that she still looks EXACTLY like CK doesn't help TC at all. But I was giving the benefit of the doubt in terms of the situation. Hell, maybe thats what she has on him, that Suri isn't even his!!!!!!! LOL

Engaged to Chris Klein, broke off engagement & proclaimed in INStyle Magazine how she loves living in NY, Loves being single, & spending time with her close, close friends.
FF a couple of weeks later she's dating, engaged, & pregnant all within 6 weeks of "meeting" Tom. Then he went bat shit.
SOOOOOO many people have said the same story. Tom asked the church of Scientology to find him a young girlfriend because he was losing that age demographic and that's what brings in the money (Tom get's paid only a % of what the movie makes, that's his salary, so if a movie tanks he doesn't get paid)
The Church then "Interviewed" Jessica Alba, ScarJo, & a few others & the only one to say yes was Katie. How ironic Katie said in an interview that one day she wanted to grow up and marry Tom Cruise. I think No one knew Katie was pregnant, and when she found out, they had to work it in the story line. Which then opens up the whole Suri in hiding for months, and disappearing and reappearing pregnant belly.
If you look at the footage (That all the news outlets have been playing non stop) of her mouthing "I love you" over and over and over.... to me, it looks so forced and rehearsed. Even when he dips her at one premiere you can see him say "Are you ready? I'm gonna...."
Fake or not I'm glad she "Blindsided" that pr!ck, just like he did to Nicole. Maybe now Katie can get her family, friends, and career back.

I remember the timing of her pregnancy being very odd, so it wouldn't surprise if their pre-nupital covered it, which could be another reason why they settled so quickly.

I don't usually care about the celebrity divorces but they have been such a strange couple from the start that i need to know more. I am surprised that he let her go so easily since he is such a control freak. I guess this really was all planned out in advance.

I just saw an article today that she's already registered with a church and coming back t Catholicism. This was a long time in the works and seems very clinical to me. Unless she reallt was swept up by the whole scientology thng and then came to her senses.
I'm friendly with someone who worked with John Travolta and apparently he doesn't even SPEAK with his old friends anymore. Won't even associate with anyone who isn't in scientology

Joss Stine shot him down immediately before he and Katie Holmes shacked up, too. There were stories about them trying to fly her in to meet with him and her laughing at it years back.
