Re: lightweight stroller
Loved my Peg Perego Aria. At only 7lbs it was super lightweight, great storage basket, decent shade, and relatively easy to maneuver. Plus it has a snack try/cup holder for kid and parent cup holder.

Cybex! i highly recommend it! It has the perfect canopy for shade, it even has a zipper to extend the canopy so your DC is totally blocked from the sun. I bought it at BBB and i absolutely love it. Storage basket is a good size too! Definitely take a look at it.

I just ended up with the City Mini after raves from here....... Only $150 on the 2011 model ......... http://www.albeebaby.com/baby-jogger-city-mini-single-8-stroller-2011-black-fuchsia.html
I had a Combi with my son that was $100 and while I loved it folded into a pole, it didn't fold fast, and the ride wasn't as smooth as I would have liked.
