Some Nursery Pics
So some history here. We had an extension done on our home in the fall. We were pretty sure we were done having kids (we have two boys). Had this room painted blue with the intention of putting my youngest son in there. But then found out we were having another and since this room has a better closet than our other alternative and baby was a girl we decided to put baby girl in this room. And I refused to have the walls painted again because they were just done professionally when we had the house done. So here it is.

Beautiful! I love the pink and blue, I'm thinking about doing something similar for DD's "big girl" room. Wish I would have thought to do this as an alternate to a gender neutral room for our DD who was a team green baby.

gorgeous.
I had baby blue walls in my room from the time I was born until I was 21. And I loved it. I do like pink and purple but, blue was always my favorite color and I miss seeing those baby blue walls. It's like staring at the sky, very peaceful. So I think the room is awesome.

thanks everyone.
My mom has been on my case about the blue walls since I told her that we were putting DD in this room.
I really like the pink and blue together too. I think in the end she is sold on it too. Especially since she did all the decorating. I'm glad we decided not to repaint.

I LOVE it! I think it is beautiful! If we knew if we were having a girl, I def would of done a light shade of blue too. I'm not a fan of completely pink girls rooms.
Ques, is the chandelier an attachment to the ceiling fan or is that how the fan was purchased? If our babes is a girl, I want to add a chandelier attachment to the fan that is already in the room.

They are two separate pieces but I'm not sure if the chandelier is adaptible to any ceiling fan. We got it from Lampsplus.com...just search for "pretty in pink" and it might say if you can adapt it to another type of fan.
