fireworks?
How old was your DC when you first took them to see fireworks? We were thinking of meeting up with friends tonight to watch the Eisenhower Park fireworks. DS is 13 months. Do you think it will be to much for him? He is not typically upset by loud noises.

Re: fireworks?
make it an exciting thing before it starts. Do a lot of oohs and ahhs and make sure you are enjoying it, they will see that and hopefully react off of you.

Re: fireworks?
DS was about 17m old the first time and he has always loved it.
I always just say be ready for a fast get away because if they dont like it, it can be bad. My niece used to shake and cry and scream during fireworks.

Re: fireworks?
Thanks. We just got home from a long- but fun!- day at the beach. DS is cranky and exhausted so we are going to stay home tonight anyway. We may try another show later in the week.
