DS is allllll over the place in the crib. I try to let him cry for a few mins when I put him down, but sometimes he gets himself in a spot where I am really worried he's going to hurt himself.

I just ordered a bumper.

I know we are not supposed to use them, but this kid rolls every which way, and moves from one end of the crib to the other in no time flat.

I did, with #2. She moved around very early so I took them out. Once she was about 6-7 months old I put them back in and they're still in now at 2 years old.

With both of my sons, as soon as they started rolling around, we put in a breathable bumper. As our ped explained, the potential risk from a regular bumper is far more dangerous than any harm they do to themselves in a crib without them.

My DD has had a bumper since she was about 1. She loves putting the top of her head against it to sleep. She is 2 now.

I use a breathable bumper for DD. She is ALL over the place. Sometimes I can hear her hand or foot hit the side of the crib, but it doesn't even wake her. Doctor said she can't get hurt if she hits her head against the side because there's not enough force behind it.

I put a bumper in when she was 15 months. I was tired of chasing her binky all over.

Yes because she was getting limbs stuck between the slats...

I put the wonder bumpers on DDs crib. I love them and the first night in her crib found her right up against them the next morning. I thought to myself thank God I didn't put in the regular bumpers. Those along with the babysense monitor give me some peace of mind.
