Torticollis & Plagiocephaly - Question about Early Intervention EI Providers
My LO is being evaluated for Early Intervention. If he gets it, it will be for physical therapy for his neck muscles, he has torticollis and is getting plagiocephaly as a result of it. This is my first child & first time contacting EI. The woman said that they come to the house to do paperwork and then let me choose a provider to do an evaluation. I was wondering if one provider is better than the others? Like, is one more likely to approve him for EI than the other? I haven't met with EI yet, so I don't know the names of the providers, but I'd imagine one may be recommended over the others. Any advice?

you'd likely choose an agency to do the evaluation. some people favor one over the others. i like Kidz Therapy (I'm a SLP though).

I live in N. Massapequa..I was using Seaford PT.
They were great. My son did get EI until he 15 months and also had plagio and wore a helmet.
