Registry Help
My shower is in a few weeks. It will be a nice brunch with a family and friends. Nothing crazy. My assss doesn't know that many people
Anyway DH and I have a decent chunk of change set to the side so we can buy things we need that we don't get. My question is what else should I put on here? I really want us to take advantage of the discount they give after the shower.
TIA

Re: Registry Help
Personally I think you have tons of stuff on there that you don't really need. The only thing I would add is the snot sucker - that thing is awesome. And not sure if you have this on there, but it is awesome for young babies . Bouncer
Also, I wouldn't buy so many sleep sacks - every baby takes to the differently, and the only one that worked for DD was the Miracle Blanket.
You will make so many trips to BBB after LO is born and you will then have a much better idea of what you really need, so I wouldn't open anything you get until you are actually going to use it.
Also, the travel wipe warmer is a waste - I never used it because it is VERY bulky and takes a while to heat and then doesn't stay warm for very long. And put something under your regular wipe warmer - it cracked my furniture.
I also wouldn't buy any extra pump parts since you really can't be 100% sure the BFing/pumping is going to work out. Just buy it when you need it - you will always have 20% off coupons, so I wouldn't worry about the registry discount.

Re: Registry Help
We put stuff on there that I knew we wouldn't need but we did it because we didn't want to put big ticket items only. Most of family makes very little money so we wanted to give them some options.
How about long sleeve onesies? Diapers?

We did use long sleeve onesies in the winter, but I would wait and see what size the baby is when you need them.
We bought small packs of a few different kinds of diapers to see what kind worked best for us (which was Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive).
Understood on the small items, but most people want to buy you fun gifts - not valve replacements, lol.

I coudn't open the BRU one but from the BBB what you are missing which is really important is the following: Bathtub Bath set (soaps, lotions, etc) I would get two different brands as you don't know what might work for your baby Wipes Diapers- I prefer the Pampers Swaddlers as a new mom it has a line which tells you how wet the diaper is so you know when to change. A&D Sterilizer (I have the microwave one and it is great) Long sleeved onesie- I still put them on DS to go to sleep and for cooler days, I would just get size 3 months since you will be using them for the fall. Re: Registry Help
Forgot to add - get the Bjorn that has back support, or look at other brands (I think people like Beco) - back support is so important.
And re sterilizer - I hated putting stuff for DD in the microwave - we sterilized in boiling water on the stove.
